Living Religions of the East

Description: In "Living Religions of the East" we discussed the religions of India, China, and Japan primarily.  This includes the major religions of Hinduism, Buddhism, Shinto, and Taoism.  We also discussed some of the more minor, but very influential religions such as Moism, Queen Mother of the West, Way of Great Peace and Prosperity, Way of the Celestial Masters, and some local flavors of religions based on tutelary gods.  In this paper I was tasked with answering a number of questions posed by our teacher, Professor William Lindsey, about the nature of the significant text of Taoism, the book "Tao-Te Ching" by Lao-Tzu.
